Have I always been an accountant?

Prior to my life as an accountant, I travelled to Australia and then on to the UK, working as a Nanny. As much as I loved my time as a live-in carer, this wasn’t a long term career path, merely an easy way for a young girl to travel. 

During the time I lived in Scotland, I commenced study in Accountancy, graduating from Aberdeen College in 2001.

Originally from the sunny Hawkes Bay, I chose to make the big move back home to NZ for a more relaxed lifestyle.   Fast forward to our next big move to Wellington in 2018 where I continued to work (remotely) for a Napier tax agent as a senior accountant and then, Head of Operations.

After a lot of encouragement and a genuine desire to shift the paradigm of accounting service providers, I made the decision to start my own firm.

I’m passionate about; being a mum, renovating, tramping and travelling.

I’m a laid back type of person, who loves a challenge and you will find me an optimistic and energetic person to collaborate with.
